*New baby swim course starting May 2025!*
Welcome to The Baby Swim School !
Teaching at pools in Anglesey, Gwynedd and Conwy, The Baby Swim School provides bilingual Welsh and English swimming lessons for babies and toddlers from 3 months to 3 and 4 years old in North Wales. Classes are led by independent swim teacher Nia Laverty who has over 15 years experience in teaching babies and children to swim!

Meet the Teacher
Hello, my name is Nia and I'm your Baby Swim School instructor! I've had the pleasure of teaching babies and toddlers to swim for over 15 years and I have full STA (Swimming Teachers Association) teacher qualifications, specialising in baby and pre-school.
I am a first language Welsh speaker and I offer flexible bilingual classes in small groups at pools located in Anglesey, Gwynedd and Conwy. Not only do my classes teach essential life-saving skills for babies and children, they are a fun and happy environment in which to introduce swimming at a young age and a wonderful place to meet other new and experienced parents.
Learning to swim enables our children to have confidence in the water and embrace the joy of swimming as a form of exercise and excitement. I am here to support both you and your child as they make their first splash on their swimming journey, so give me a call to book your class - I look forward to meeting you!
